Delta Airlines has reportedly hired lawyer David Boies to seek damages from CrowdStrike and Microsoft. This decision comes after CrowdStrike’s shares fell to their lowest level this year following a report on the hiring. The security software vendor is said to have caused an outage of Microsoft Systems that affected various industries, including airlines. Delta is currently dealing with over 176,000 refund requests after canceling almost 7,000 flights. The Department of Transportation has initiated an investigation into Delta’s widespread disruptions and service failures. Boies is known for his high-profile legal cases in the past.
