Elon Musk’s recent live conversation experienced technical difficulties, causing inconvenience for users and hindering the social media service’s goal to reclaim its position as a leading platform for political discussions. During the conversation, which took place on the company’s audio livestreaming feature called Spaces, some users encountered silence and error messages, preventing them from accessing the livestream. Additionally, those who managed to join the livestream were greeted with hold music. Mr. Musk attributed these glitches to a cyberattack known as a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack, which overwhelms servers with malicious traffic, causing them to go offline.
